Ask about the free alarm-system promo ($850 value) on qualifying monitoring*. A new monitoring agreement is required — typically 36 months. Early termination fees apply. Homeowners only.
Does Wichita charge a yearly alarm permit?
Yes, inside the City of Wichita. Chapter 3.41 requires a $25 alarm-user registration with the Wichita Alarm Program (CryWolf). Confirm at (877) 888-1355 or (316) 268-4196. The first security false alarm in the registration year is free, then fees climb. Derby bills $25 / $50 / $75 after two free false alarms in a calendar year. Goddard bills $100 / $200 / $300 after three. Andover charges $10 after six. Other cities confirm from the ZIP — we do not invent a dollar amount.
There is a leftover keypad in my Derby resale. Now what?
Photograph it before you pull it off the wall. Many Derby, Andover, Maize, and Goddard resales still have a panel. We can often turn ADT back on instead of starting over. Builder leftover keypads are usually not ADT — those get replaced.
Does monitoring work when Evergy is out?
Yes. Ask about cellular backup so the panel still reaches ADT if Evergy or the Wi-Fi is down. Wichita and most of Sedgwick County sit on Evergy. Sedgwick County Electric Cooperative covers some rural pockets. Butler Electric Cooperative covers some Andover and Augusta lots. Mulvane has municipal electric.
Is this site ADT corporate?

Can you install before we leave for a weekend in Old Town?
We confirm the earliest install window on the call. Weekdays empty a lot of Wichita houses. A Spirit shift or a commute on Kellogg empties the same doors. Promotional offers are for homeowners, not short-term rentals. Say so on the call.
Do you cover Derby, Andover, Maize, and Goddard?
